Order of the Rubber Duck

The Order of the Rubber Duck is a society of Computer Science Majors and Minors at Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA.

It derives its name from the practice of Rubber Duck Debugging and all members are given a rubber duck of their own. The initial 750 ducks were a generous donation from the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics.

Students are inducted as members during CS 140 Introduction to Programming. The first class was inducted on 4 February 2013. (In the first year, upperclassmen were also inducted in other classes.)
